2021 Recipient(s): Robert G. Kelly
Mr. Kelly has been conducting research on the corrosion of metals for the past 35 years. He holds a Ph.D. studies at Johns Hopkins University and spent two years at the Corrosion and Protection Centre at the University of Manchester as a Fulbright Scholar and as an NSF/NATO Post-doctoral Fellow. His experience includes work on the corrosion of metals and alloys, nonaqueous and mixed solvents as well as studies of the electrochemical and chemical conditions in localized corrosion sites in various alloy systems. He has graduated over 25 PhD students, co-authored over 120 papers. Mr. Kelly is also a Fellow of NACE International and has won several teaching awards during his career.
