Overview

The Abrasive Blaster Certification (C7) validates your ability to set up equipment, select appropriate abrasives, and perform proper blast cleaning techniques in accordance with industry standards. Through a blend of hands-on sessions, participants learn surface preparation principles, cleanliness standards, abrasive selection, and proper operation of nozzle, wet abrasive, and wheel blasting systems.
This credential is ideal for contractors, applicators, and marine maintenance professionals seeking to strengthen their blasting expertise.

Prerequisites

The following items must be submitted no later than two weeks before the scheduled course: C7 Prerequisite Form.

Each student must also obtain written confirmation from his or her employer's human resource manager that the student has completed a minimum of 800 documented hours of abrasive blasting experience in an industrial or marine environment prior to qualifying for the C7 Certification.

Please Note: In order to be eligible for C7 Certification Program, the pre-requisite form must be completed and signed by your HR Manager and given to AMPP two weeks prior to the course start date. Failure to fill out the form truthfully, or any instance of providing inaccurate information, will result in immediate denial or revocation of the C7 Certification. Failure to cooperate with the program instructors, or properly prepare for the hands-on Certification session, will also be grounds for denial of certification.

Yes. Upon successful completion of your course, AMPP provides a Certificate of Course Completion.

If your course is part of a certification program, you must also meet all certification requirements outlined for that program. Your registration confirmation email will include details on scheduling exams and completing any additional steps needed for certification.

Course materials are provided at the start of your training to ensure you receive the most current content. Some programs may include optional pre-reading materials after registration—check your confirmation email for details.
