Overview

The CP2 course provides intermediate-level training in corrosion theory and cathodic protection (CP) concepts, types of CP systems, and advanced field measurement techniques. You’ll receive lectures paired with hands-on instruction using equipment and instruments essential to CP testing and evaluation, such as potential measurements, current and rectifier testing, interference detection, and data interpretation.

Your purchase includes registration for the CP2 Certification exam — which verifies your ability to test, troubleshoot, and evaluate CP system performance and field data. Earning the CP2 credential demonstrates a higher level of understanding and capability in cathodic protection testing and analysis, supporting your professional growth in corrosion protection roles across pipelines, tanks, and other critical infrastructure.
